AeroTEC’s team consists of aerospace engineers, instrumentation technicians, A&P mechanics, test pilots, and software engineers. The team includes FAA-DAR’s and FAA-DER’s in a variety of disciplines.

Mr. Lee Human is the founder and president of AeroTEC a Seattle based aerospace engineering company specializing in the development, flight testing and certification of major aircraft modifications. Mr. Human is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst College of Engineering. He has earned credentials as an FAA Designated Engineering Representative, as well a private multiengine instrument pilot’s license. Prior to starting AeroTEC in 2003 Mr. Human was instrumental in the success and growth of other aerospace companies. Mr. Human held the position of Flight Test Manager at Aviation Partners Boeing (APB), a joint venture with the Boeing Company. Prior to APB Lee was a lead engineer at Aircraft Engineering Specialists (AES).
Lee’s extensive experience in the aircraft development and certification industry brings direction and a competitive edge to AeroTEC. Mr. Human has been personally involved in the testing, engineering and certification of over 50 major aerospace projects. Some worthy of note include:

Mr. Human is married with 3 children and lives on Mercer Island, Washington. In his free time Lee enjoys boating the waters of Puget Sound with family and friends.

Mr. Baines started the first two years of his engineering career at The Boeing Company where he gained experience as a design engineer on the 777 Flight Deck design team. He then joined the Boeing Flight Test Instrumentation group and over the next five years supported initial type certification of the 777-200, the 737-700, and the 767 AWACS. He gained more certification knowledge during his two year term at Bombardier where he contributed to the type certification of the DeHavilland Dash-8 400, the Canadair CRJ700, and the Lear Model 45.
In 1999 Kent joined Aviation Partners where he spent three years as lead engineer for their flight test department. At Aviation Partners he supported winglet flight test programs for the Raytheon Hawker 800, Boeing 747-200, and the Boeing 737-300.
Mr. Baines partnered with Lee Human in 2003 to officially open the doors of AeroTEC, and is responsible for overseeing the technical arm of the company.

Mr. Briscoe draws on both commercial and military skills to provide superior management for aircraft flight/ground support, test logistics and business operations. Brad gained extensive knowledge while working with the Boeing Company from 1991 to 2000. He was involved in development and testing of the B777-200 and derivatives, 757-300, 767-400, as well as the B-2 Bomber. Additionally, for 3 years he supported Aviation Partners Boeing in the development, testing and certification of blended winglets for Boeing and business jet aircraft.
Mr. Briscoe also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1995. In 1989 he was awarded “Marine of the Year” for Bravo Company, 4th Tanks, 4th Marine Division. Mr. Briscoe served in Operation Desert Storm / Shield, and in 1992 was awarded “Marine Corps Tanker of the Year” from the USMC Tankers Association.
Brad partnered with Lee Human in 2003 to officially open the doors of AeroTEC, and is responsible for overseeing the business operations and logistics arm of the company.
Director of Program Management
Linda brings over 30 years of experience in program management and test engineering to the AeroTEC team. Her previous roles included working for Pratty & Whitney and Boeing as a propulsion and flight test engineer. After moving into program management at Boeing, she worked on the 737, 767, and 777 programs for Customer Aviation Services, Strategy, and Product Development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
Director of Engineering Services
Dale is an experienced engineer in multiple clean-sheet aircraft development programs. His career has seen him work on the Airbus A340-600, A380 and A350-XWB Wing Leading Edge Mechanical Systems, as a Structures Integrator on the Bombardier CSeries, and in recent roles moving into Flight Test as the Structures Lead engineer on the CSeries, and then Manager for Systems. Dale holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design and Manufacture from Brunel University in the UK, and has built and led multiple international, inter-disciplinary teams.
Director of Test and Evaluation
Michel is an experienced New Product Development engineer and leader with over 2,000 hours of flying as a Flight Test Engineer on fighters, helicopters and regional jets. In his past roles, he was the Lead Flight Test Engineer on the Bell M430 and the Bombardier CRJ-900 Regional Jet. Later on, he led the Integrated Test Team on the Bell M427 and he was the Director responsible for the conduct of the Flight Test program of the new Bombardier CSeries intercontinental commercial airliner. Michel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Carleton University and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School.
Director of Corporate Operations
Beverly Neubauer started at AeroTEC as an Engineering Assistant in 2004. Over the years she has supported flight testing in a myriad of ways, including: routing wire through test aircraft, strain gauge layout preparation, aircraft weight and balance planning and management, remote flight test logistics coordination, purchasing, accounting, recruiting, reception, and travel management. In 2014 she was promoted to Business Manager to oversee the human resources, accounting, administrative and purchasing activities at AeroTEC.
Manager, Moses Lake Flight Test Center
Matt is a graduate of Big Bend Community College. He has an associates degrees in Applied Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology and Commercial Pilot Program. He is an FAA certified A&P Mechanic and Commercial Pilot with 25 years’ of aerospace experience. His experience is primarily in FAA 145 Repair Station Maintenance Management and Quality Systems supporting Boeing and Major Airline carriers, domestically and internationally.
